finally..(and camera help)

taken some pictures! its been a long time, but im probably going to be taking a lot in the summer.
im getting a new digital camera, i just want a point&shoot, but a really good one.
does anyone know of any good ones?
im looking at a Canon Powershot S2 IS, or Canon Powershot A710 IS so far
